Finerenone tablet का उपयोग type 2 diabetes से जुड़ी chronic kidney disease वाले वयस्कों में kidney disease के बढ़ने और कुछ heart-related complications का जोखिम कम करने के लिए किया जा सकता है। इसे केवल डॉक्टर की देखरेख और blood tests के साथ लेना चाहिए।

कैसे काम करती है

यह mineralocorticoid receptor पर aldosterone के हानिकारक प्रभाव को रोकता है, जिससे kidneys और heart में सूजन तथा scarring कम करने में मदद मिल सकती है।

संभावित आम दुष्प्रभाव

इसके सामान्य दुष्प्रभाव या blood-test changes में ये शामिल हो सकते हैं:

• खून में potassium बढ़ना
• चक्कर या low blood pressure
• खून में sodium कम होना

इस्तेमाल से पहले सावधानी

Adrenal insufficiency, बहुत अधिक blood potassium, इसके ingredients से allergy या strong CYP3A4 inhibitor लेने पर इसका उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए। Kidney function और potassium की निगरानी जरूरी हो सकती है। डॉक्टर को potassium supplements, potassium वाले salt substitutes, potassium बढ़ाने वाली दवाओं और सभी prescription, non-prescription या herbal products के बारे में बताएं। कुछ CYP3A4 inhibitors या inducers और grapefruit इसके असर को बदल सकते हैं।
