Fluticasone और Formoterol Fumarate capsule combination का उपयोग asthma या chronic obstructive lung disease में लंबे समय तक wheezing, सांस फूलना और सीने की जकड़न नियंत्रित करने के लिए किया जा सकता है। यह अचानक breathing attack से तुरंत राहत देने वाली medicine नहीं है। Capsule form आमतौर पर उपयुक्त inhaler device के साथ सांस द्वारा लेने के लिए होता है।

कैसे काम करती है

Fluticasone airway की सूजन और irritation कम करने वाला corticosteroid है। Formoterol लंबे समय तक airway muscles को ढीला रखने वाला bronchodilator है; साथ मिलकर ये सांस की नलियों को खुला रखने में मदद करते हैं।

संभावित आम दुष्प्रभाव

मुँह और गले से जुड़े side effects हो सकते हैं। Inhalation के बाद मुँह साफ करने से oral thrush का खतरा कम हो सकता है।

• मुँह में fungal infection
• सिरदर्द
• हाथ काँपना
• धड़कन महसूस होना

इस्तेमाल से पहले सावधानी

किसी ingredient से allergy, tuberculosis या अन्य infection, abnormal heartbeat, heart disease, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes, low potassium, seizures, glaucoma, कमजोर हड्डियाँ, pregnancy या breastfeeding की जानकारी डॉक्टर को दें। अन्य long-acting bronchodilators, beta-blockers, diuretics, heart-rhythm medicines और कुछ antifungal या antiviral medicines interaction कर सकती हैं। Inhalation के लिए बना capsule निगलना नहीं चाहिए। यह prescription combination केवल डॉक्टर के निर्देशन में उपयोग करें।
