किस लिए दी जाती है

Ivermectin एक antiparasitic दवा है। Injection form का उपयोग केवल उस संवेदनशील parasitic infection और patient species के लिए किया जाना चाहिए जिसके लिए qualified clinician इसे उचित माने; human और veterinary injections एक-दूसरे के विकल्प नहीं हैं।

कैसे काम करती है

यह कुछ parasites की nerve और muscle cells के chloride channels पर असर डालता है, जिससे वे लकवाग्रस्त होकर मर सकते हैं।

संभावित आम दुष्प्रभाव

दुष्प्रभाव infection, patient species और injection product के अनुसार अलग हो सकते हैं। इसे केवल qualified clinician की निगरानी में दिया जाना चाहिए।

• Injection की जगह दर्द
• Injection की जगह सूजन
• मतली
• चक्कर
• कमजोरी
• खुजली या rash

इस्तेमाल से पहले सावधानी

यह prescription medicine है और injection खुद न लगाएं। Ivermectin या formulation के किसी घटक से allergy, liver disease, neurological समस्या, blood-brain barrier को प्रभावित करने वाली बीमारी, pregnancy या breastfeeding के बारे में clinician को बताएं। Warfarin और उपयोग की जा रही सभी दूसरी दवाओं तथा supplements की जानकारी दें। केवल clinician द्वारा चुने गए product, route और निर्देशों का पालन करें।
